This girl :)

I don't even know where to begin! If the little lady could live outside in a tree house I'm sure she would. Every time we say "outside" she gets super excited and runs towards the door and tries to open it, it's hilarious! She can't quite reach the doorknob but tries so hard to get to it. Once she's outside there's not stopping her.  She could stay out there for hours and not bat an eye at anything else. It's a sad story when we tell her it's time to go inside. She's quite the demanding one but we love it :)

Grandma and Grandpa Bowman have a great backyard with lots of fun things to play with including a wheelbarrow. Sean loaded the wheelbarrow up with leaves and put the little lady on top of it and she was elated by it. She loved every minute. Thanks to Aunt Jessi we got these photos of her :)

It makes it all worth it

One of my most favorite things about being a Mom is when my little lady falls asleep on my lap watching her favorite show, Curious George. She loves monkeys and every time we see one she immediately spots it and has to have it. Needless to say we sometimes try to distract her unless she's with her daddy and he gives in :) She has him wrapped around her little finger and it's adorable :)

Anyway that's not the point. I absolutely love it when she falls asleep on my lap. I feel her body go limp and a slight snore sets in. I slowly move her so that she's laying in my arms and then I silently watch her for a few minutes before I put her in her crib. I am always in awh looking at her. Her flawless face, chubby cheeks, pink lips, her button nose, her perfectly shaped ears, and her serene look on her face as she's dreaming of going on adventures with Curious George. I wonder how in the world I got so lucky to have such a fun, spunky, demanding, full of life little girl who completely depends on me. I just love those moments. It makes every sleepless night, every whack in the face with a toy, every scratch on my neck, every poopy diaper, and every demand for a new monkey worth it :)

It Finally Happened!

To some of you this post may seem dumb, silly, or even ridiculous but to me it is something that I have long waited for!

For those of you who don't know Stephanie Nielson, she is an amazing woman who grew up here in Utah, has five beautiful children, and has suffered a tremendous trial in her life. She and her husband were in a horrific plane crash in 2008 burning 80% of her body. she's also the creator of the NieNie Dialogues. You can follow her blog Here. She also has a book out called "Heaven is Here" that talks about her life and how shes overcome obstacles and trials in her life. To me, she is such an inspiration and example of an honest, loving, caring, strong, and passionate Latter-Day woman.

Anyway, moving on. I've wanted to meet this woman for years now. when she posts that she was at Target or Cafe Rio or other close places it always crosses my mind "awh man! I wish I would've run into her!" and finally I did! Yesterday I was at Target picking up a few things (the little lady loves this store) and as I was walking out, putting groceries in the car, and getting ready to drive away I caught a glimpse of a lady with 3 girls, two older and one in her arms. It crossed my mind that she looked familiar to me and then realized "Oh! it's Stephanie Nielson!" I quickly parked the car again, grabbed my little lady and we headed back into Target. I felt like a stalked trying to find this woman and found her in the produce section. I went up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and i immediately started crying. I introduced myself to her and said she probably thought that I was crazy but that I've wanted to meet her for years, that I've read her book over and over and that she's such an inspiration to me. she gave me a hug and I immediately felt her goodness flood my body. I quickly apologized for bugging her but thanked her for all she's done. She was such a sweet lady and said it was no trouble at all.

As I was leaving I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy and happiness. I teared up again on the way home and called my mom and husband and told them what I'd experienced. There are very few times in my life where I've really felt the spirit by someone's touch and Stephanie definitely had that touch. I doubt she'll ever come across my blog or read this but I'm just so grateful for her fight for right and her amazing life story to continue to move forward with faith. If you haven't read her book i highly recommend it. It will truly inspire you. Again, this post may seem silly to you but it was such a great experience for me.

A Pleasant Surprise!!!

As most already know, we're expecting our second baby and couldn't be more excited!! These past few weeks have been quite busy for this Bowman Bunch.

My sister got married on Sean's birthday so we celebrated both. Sean was such a good sport and smiled the whole day. We were able to celebrate the day before with some fun presents, out to dinner, and a chocolate cake with 29 candles on it ;) Then on Sunday his family celebrates with whatever dinner they want and whatever dessert they want so he picked enchiladas and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. It was a great weekend!

Throughout the next few weeks we celebrated the little lady's first birthday! I can't believe she's already one! We had family and friends over for a little bbq and she was able to eat her first cake. (I'l post picture on this later).

After that, my birthday showed up at the end of September. Apparently you can have free gender checks at the clinic I go to so I decided it'd be fun to find out what we're having on my birthday. It was quite the exciting day and I was anxiously waiting for Sean to get home so we could all go and find out what this little bundle of joy was going to be. Both Sean and I thought it was another girl. When we got to the clinic they took us right in. Hannah was a little worried about what they were doing to me and whimpered when they put the dopler on my belly. She then realized it was ok and went back to her jibber jabber self. They showed us little feet and arms and head, then we got to the fun part. The technician looked down and said " well there he is! It's a little boy!" both Sean and I were shocked! Pleasantly shocked of course and we couldn't believe it! We looked at our little baby and he was definitely a boy!

When we left we thought it'd be fun to get a blue balloon and head over to Sean's parents to let them know we were having a boy. We got there and Steve and Jessi were there so it made it that much more fun. We then announced it publicly and couldn't be more excited!!!!! Now comes the hard part... finding a name for the little man!
